💡 Why We Created Recipe Shop
One day, everything changed. My mom—vibrant, healthy, never on medication—had a sudden cardiac arrest. The cause? A viral infection. She survived, but was left with a weakened heart and a new diagnosis: diabetes.
Overnight, our family went from “eat healthy” to track sodium, count carbs, cook differently—fast. What we found was shocking: most “healthy” recipes weren’t actually low in sodium. Meal plans were either bland, misleading, or impossible to follow without a personal chef.
So my sister and I got to work. We researched, cooked, measured, and built what didn’t exist: a simple, delicious, low-sodium + low-carb recipe system—for real people with real health goals.
